My PDC 2008 Agenda

// October 23rd, 2008 // Life

This Saturday I’ll be headed off to sunny Los Angeles for Microsoft’s Professional Developer Conference 2008. This is the first time I’ve gone and I’m really looking forward to it. I’m staying at Hotel Figueroa, only a couple blocks from the Los Angeles Convention Center, and I’ve posted my tentative session agenda (more for my own reference than anything else) below. If anyone else would like to meet up for drinks after the sessions, drop me an email.

Pre-Conference / Sunday, Oct. 26

Day One / Monday, Oct. 27

Day Two / Tuesday, Oct. 28

Day Three / Wednesday, Oct. 29

Day Four / Thursday, Oct. 30

  1. I really wish I could make it out to PDC this year, but sadly it doesn’t look like it is going to happen. Hope you have some good posts on how it went!

    Hi Justin, thanks, I hope to have some good posts as well!

    Besides the ASP.Net 4.0 roadmap and the Windows 7 stuff, I think I am most excited to learn about MS’ cloud computing platform (Strata?). I’ve been toying with Amazon SimpleDB recently, including messing around with your Linq-to-SimpleDb provider.

    Any chance that you’ll update it to work with the latest releases of SimpleDB? It has sorting now. =)

    Hopefully MS will knock my socks off and I won’t care a wit about SimpleDB by the time I come back from LA. Here’s to hoping!
